T he Youth Adaptation Forum on Nature-based Solutions seeks to bring attention to the young people who are designing and implementing Nature-based Solutions in practice. The Forum will raise awareness on the importance and uses of Nature-based Solutions and will encourage young people to share their best practices for climate adaptation action through their work.

In 2024, GCA is organizing six Youth Adaptation Forums, with a special focus on African good practices, based upon adaptation areas prioritized by young people; Young Women Leadership for Adaptation, Water, Climate-resilient Agriculture, Nature-based Solutions, Youth Entrepreneurship, Adaptation Jobs, and Finance and Locally Led Adaptation.
 
The Youth Adaptation Forums bringing together young people, governments, civil society, practitioners, international organizations, and decision-makers to mobilize and highlight adaptation solutions led by young people in Africa.  
 
The Youth Adaptation Forums will culminate in a global Youth Climate Adaptation Action Day, where young people around the world will be encouraged to take adaptation action simultaneously.
