T aking place during the Africa Climate Summit, this High-Level Intergenerational Dialogue co-convened by GCA and the Wangari Maathai Institute, brought together global leaders, young people and students from across Africa to drive adaptation action, and to bring the voices of young people to the Africa Climate Summit and beyond.
 
Key objectives:

• Empower African youth leadership and unlock adaptation jobs and youth entrepreneurship by showcasing African youth solutions, including the YouthADAPT winners.
• Champion adaptation education and youth views in adaptation policies, including by launching the Toolkit for Youth on Adaptation & Leadership.
• Announce new partnerships in support of the youth- & education-related and other objectives of the Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP).

The two-hour High-Level Dialogue will feature panel interventions from global leaders, young people including students and entrepreneurs, as well as policy- and decision-makers.
